Do I have to choose a single track or can I switch between tracks?
You are able to attend workshops from multiple tracks. For example, you may choose to attend a tooling workshop at 2:30 p.m and then a management workshop at 3:30 p.m. There will be 15 minutes between sessions if you need to move between rooms.

Will seating be assigned at workshops?
No; seating for the workshops will be first come, first serve.

Is attendance restricted to specific roles?
No; you may choose which session you would like to attend regardless of your role. Keep in mind some workshops may fill up based on room capacity.

Q: What does the agenda look like for this event? 
A: The SKO24 meeting is a 3-day event featuring general sessions led by guest speakers and Freshworks executives, workshops, awards, team building activities, and more.

Q: Will you be live streaming the event?
A: No, we will not be live streaming the event this year. We will be recording content for post event education.

Q: Who is approved to attend SKO24 in Las Vegas?
A: Travel and attendance for SKO24 is for specific functions within the CRO organization along with a limited number of non-CRO attendees. If you are an approved attendee, you will receive an invite to register. Please refrain from booking any travel until you’ve received the registration invitation email. 

Q: How do I register for SKO24?
A: SKO24 participants will receive an email invite to register online - please complete your registration by Friday, December 15, 2023.

Q: Do I need to book my own hotel room?
A: No you should not book your own hotel room. Freshworks is providing housing for approved nights related to SKO24. Upon your approved registration, a room will be reserved for you and payment for room/tax will be made. 

Hotel will be provided for 3 nights (arriving on Sunday, January 28 and departing on Wednesday, January 31). If additional nights are needed due to travel schedules, we can accommodate. Please raise the request for additional nights during the registration process.

Q: What if I need additional hotel nights not related to SKO24?
A:  Housing for extended stays before or after SKO24 for any reason not related to the event (including team meetings, office visits, etc.) should be booked and expensed via your normal channels. You must receive manager approval prior to booking and expensing additional hotel room nights. 

Q: What if I already registered for SKO24 but can no longer attend?
A: Please reach out to freshworksevents@launchinc.com to assist with registration and hotel room cancellation. 

Q: Do I need to book my own flight?
A: Yes, you are responsible for booking and expensing your airfare via Egencia or the India Travel Desk. All employees traveling to SKO are required to book economy class airfare. Please contact your approval manager if you have any questions or concerns.

In Egencia, please select project code “SKO24 - Las Vegas.”

When expensing via Expensify, please use project code “Sales Kickoff - Las Vegas.”

Q: What is the SKO flight policy?
A: As of November 29th, all employees traveling to SKO are required to book economy class airfare. Please contact your approval manager if you have any questions or concerns.

Q: When should I arrive and depart SKO?
A: Please plan to arrive on Sunday, January 28 by 5:00 p.m. PT for the Welcome Reception. You may depart after the event concludes at 12:00 p.m. PT Wednesday, January 31 - it is recommended that departure flights are no earlier than 2:00 p.m. PT.

Q: What about other expenses?
A: Please refer to Freshworks Global T&E Policy for guidelines and procedures for employees incurring business travel and entertainment expenses.

Hosted meal functions begin Sunday with the welcome reception and end Wednesday with lunch.

Should you have additional questions regarding approved expenses, please discuss with your standard approver in advance.

Q: How do I book ground transportation to my hotel?
A: Uber, Lyft, and taxis are all available once you exit the airport. Please look for signage as you make your way through the airport. Please expense your airport transportation via your standard expense process.

Q: How do I apply for a visa if one is required?
A: If you need an invitation letter, email askHR@freshworks.com and a ticket will be created and assigned to the appropriate group to generate a letter.

Q: I have submitted application for a Visa to visit the US, though I do not have a confirmed visa. What should I do?
A: We understand that several SKO attendees are awaiting status of their travel Visas. Wait times to obtain are country dependent and could take as long as 12 months to receive in some countries due to long wait times. If you do not have a travel Visa in your possession by Dec. 28, 2023, the SKO planning team will need to un-register your attendance.

Q: What if I already booked my flight but can no longer attend?
