As the Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Holdings since 2020, Ernie Garateix has leveraged over a decade of executive leadership at the firm, including prior roles as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President. His tenure at Heritage is marked by a deep expertise in claims, underwriting, and systems analysis, built upon a foundation of operational leadership at American Integrity Insurance Group and FCCI Insurance Group. At FCCI, he notably directed a team of developers through large-scale software implementations and multi-state projects, while his early career at USF&G provided him with extensive experience in claims and call center management. A veteran of the insurance industry, Mr. Garateix earned dual bachelor’s degrees in finance and management from Florida State University and holds an MBA in Management Information Technology from the University of Tampa.  He also holds the prestigious Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®) designation.

With over 30 years of IT experience—including more than 20 years at Travelers—Tracey specializes in engineering, enterprise architecture, and large-scale cloud transformation. Previously, Christina led cloud sales strategy globally at Guidewire, leveraging her commercial and operational cloud experience. Christina also spent four years on the executive leadership team of Virtustream, the mission-critical cloud company of Dell Technologies.

Graham Haigh

Based in Winnipeg, Graham Haigh is a retired insurance leader with a 30-year career defined by C-suite roles at Wawanesa Insurance, one of Canada’s largest carriers.  He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director for Portage Mutual Insurance and recently advised ProNavigator through its sale to Guidewire. Graham is a passionate advocate for modernizing insurance operations to better serve consumers and is a regular contributor to industry events and podcasts.

Chris Folkman
Vice President, Product Management at Guidewire 

Chris Folkman is VP of Product Management at Guidewire Software, where he manages a portfolio of data & analytics solutions that help insurers make fast, accurate, and automated decisions. He has extensive experience on both the broker and carrier sides of insurance, where he has led many aspects of property and casualty operations including underwriting, pricing, predictive analytics, catastrophe modeling, and regulatory affairs. Prior to Guidewire, he led the global data team of Risk Management Solutions (RMS).  Chris holds a BA from Stanford University. He is a licensed insurance broker, a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and an Associate in Risk Management (ARM).

Zachary Gustafson

Zachary Gustafson oversees the Claims and InsuranceNow businesses at Guidewire. Over the course of his 12-year tenure, he has served as a special assistant to Guidewire's CEO, instantiated Guidewire's Customer Success practice, and led Guidewire's Strategic Advisory (previously Value Consulting) organization. Prior to joining Guidewire, Zach enjoyed a cross-industry career in consulting at Accenture, where he led technology programs at customers in multiple industries, including utilities, healthcare, government, and insurance.

Ben Guyer leads the team that is responsible for ensuring that InsuranceNow product solutions enable Guidewire customers to be successful. He has 19 years of experience in the insurance industry in technology and leadership roles and has been passionately developing technology solutions for 26 years. Prior to joining Guidewire, Ben helped an insurer triple in size by designing technology products to enable rapid growth.
