We are requiring, as part of our health and safety protocols for this event, that all qualifiers and their guests will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If you and your guest are already vaccinated, then you are good to go. Qualifiers and their guests who are not vaccinated will need to be fully vaccinated by January 1, 2022 in order to attend. No exceptions to our vaccination protocols due to health and safety concerns. We very much appreciate your understanding and look forward to having a great Achievers Club!

What can I do to keep myself and others safe from Covid-19?
The following precautions are recommended to help protect against Covid-19:
- Wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth to help protect yourself and others while out in public. For best practices on how to wear a mask, click here.
- Stay at least 6 feet apart from others who don’t live with you whenever possible.
- Get a COVID-19 vaccine when it is available to you. For more information on vaccines, click here.
- Avoid crowds and poorly ventilated indoor spaces whenever possible.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water. Use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol if soap and water aren’t available.
I’m fully vaccinated, do these precautions still apply?
Yes, it is recommended that you continue to social distance, wash hands frequently and wear a mask whenever in public or with individuals from other households, especially those who are not vaccinated.
The CDC considers people fully vaccinated only if they meet the following criteria:
- 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
- 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine

How can I protect myself and others while traveling?
The following precautions are recommended in order to remain as safe as possible during air travel:
- Wear a mask over your nose and mouth when in public.
- Avoid crowds and stay at least 6 feet/2 meters (about 2 arm lengths) from anyone who is not traveling with you.
- Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer (with at least 60% alcohol).
Is it safe to fly during the pandemic?
Most viruses and germs do not spread easily on flights due to air circulation and HEPA filters on board planes. That being said, it is still important to wear a mask and wash your hands as often as possible. Additionally, be mindful of crowds while at the airport – particularly in long security lines, crowded gates, terminals and restaurants. Maintain at least a 6 foot distance from other travelers whenever possible.
How can I protect myself and others after traveling?
Self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms; isolate and get tested if you develop symptoms. Continue to follow all state and local recommendations or requirements to protect against Covid-19. If you have any questions about what these may be, you can ask an event team member.
What steps do I need to take before returning to my home state or country?
When traveling home, continue to take precautions against Covid-19 such as wearing a mask and practicing social distancing.
Refer to your home state or country’s guidelines regarding re-entry. Some countries require a negative Covid-19 test prior to returning home or have mandated quarantine periods upon arrival.
Safety During the Event
What precautions do I need to take during Club?
All guests should continue to practice the general Covid-19 precautions outlined above during their stay, including frequent hand washing, social distancing when possible and wearing a mask while out in public.
Are masks required to be worn on property while at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira?
All employees and guests ages 5 and above are required to wear a mask or face covering while in public spaces and when receiving in-room service.
What other precautions are the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira taking to protect against the spread Covid-19?
Upon arrival, there will be a screening procedure for all guests that may include temperature checking and questions regarding health and recent travel.
In some places, additional regulations on mask usage are mandated. In accordance with local health authorities, some restaurant and facility services and hours may also be modified.
What should I do if I start developing symptoms during Club?
If during your stay you develop any of the following symptoms, please isolate yourself immediately and contact a member of the event team in order to get tested for Covid-19. Please note, symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. Possible symptoms of Covid-19 include the following:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
