CentralSquare is pleased to host two optional activities for each qualifier and hosted guest.
The following optional activities will take place on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4.
Please note, while we will do our best to accommodate all requests, some activities have limited capacities. Please know that making your request early will better guarantee you enjoy your first choice of activities.
Respectfully, activities are hosted for the qualifier and one guest only. Guests must be 18 years or older to participate.
ATV Polaris Adventure
Time: 12:45 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. (April 12)
7:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. (April 13)
9:45 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. (April 14)
Transfer Time: 30 minutes each way
ATV 4-wheel dirt bike tours are the most talked about adventures Los Cabos has to offer. Take part in an inspiring and exciting ride in the desert and explore areas that you never thought could exist. On this tour, you’ll discover a wide variety of flora and fauna found only in the beautiful deserts of Baja. Explore the dunes and fabulous Pacific coastline. You'll travel through several distinct ecosystems as you make your way to Migriño beach where spectacular oceanside cliffs and three miles of white sandy beach ramp up the fun. Don't be concerned about being an inexperienced rider as the tour is suitable for first-time off roaders to seasoned pros.
Catamaran Snorkel Sail
Time: 11:45 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. (April 12)
The beautiful waters of Los Cabos beckon you to explore and what better way than with a mask and flippers? Los Cabos is heaven for snorkelers with its natural marine sanctuary that is home to schools of tiger-fish, angelfish and goatfish. Nature has carved numerous safe bays and coves along the area's uncrowded miles of sandy shoreline and one can enjoy the sight of sea lions and pelicans. This area has an abundance of beautiful fish because all wildlife in this area are protected. See the window to the Pacific and the famous arch among the rugged rock formations. Pass by Lover’s beach, whose opposite shore connects the Sea of Cortez with the cold Pacific Ocean. After our visit at Land’s End, visit Santa Maria for a relaxing snorkel. Or just relax on board and enjoy.
Day at Leisure
Relax around the resort or explore Los Cabos on your own time. The day is yours to enjoy!
Deep Sea Fishing
Time: 6:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. (April 13, 14)
Los Cabos is known as the Marlin capital of the world. There are more Marlin caught in the surrounding waters than any other place on earth. Each year there are various championship fishing contests, with more than $4.5 million in prizes! The area is also abundant with a variety of other big game fish such as, Mahi Mahi, Dorado, Roosterfish and Wahoo. Enjoy the day in your private boat and try your luck at catching the big one. Captains and mates armed with local knowledge will guide you to the best spot. Your day at sea will be on the beautiful Sea of Cortez, or on the adventurous waters of the Pacific. The catch of your life may be close to shore, or as far as five miles out to sea. Early morning departures are a must to give you the best opportunity to catch a big one!
Golf at Cabo Real Golf Club
Tee Times: Tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m. (April 13, 14)
Cabo Real Golf Club features a multi-themed, target-style course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. In its current configuration, Cabo Real's front nine provides a scenic, gentle test with broad fairways tumbling down to the Sea of Cortes, notably at the short par-4 fifth, which plays across an arroyo en-route to the beach. The par-3 6th hole, is propped up on a seaside bluff, which looking back will reward you with a view of endless palm trees and beautiful white sand beach. With breathtaking holes chiseled into desert foothills at the foot of rugged mountain peaks, Cabo Real’s longer back nine presents a great test of golf. Free-form bunkers and small, elevated greens combine with fairways that play along ridge tops, to provide an expansive feel.
Kayak & Snorkel at The Arch
Time: 12:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. (April 12)
After making the short trip to beautiful Medano Beach in Cabo San Lucas you will receive an orientation regarding your kayak for two. Explore the beauty above and below the Sea of Cortez from your two-person, sit-on-top kayak with its clear bottom. Follow your guide along the beautiful shores of Land’s End. You will pass unspoiled beaches, breathtaking landscapes, and the famous Arch, Neptune’s Finger, Pelican Rock, the Sea Lion Colony, and, of course, Lover’s Beach. You will paddle for about 45 minutes to a premier spot for snorkeling in the bay where you can experience the diversity and beauty of the Sea of Cortez. This is an excellent way to enjoy the sand and sea of Los Cabos.
Zipline – Wild Canyon
Time: 12:45 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. (April 12)
The most fun you will have in the Los Cabos outback. Soar across canyons and zoom by rock faces, flying like a bird over the oasis below. From a 164-ft long 33-ft high training line, to a 2,673 ft long (almost nine football fields!) 295-ft high mega zip line, there is something that will get everyone’s heart pumping. Ten lines of cables extend themselves across dry riverbeds and over the desert ranges through the middle of an extremely panoramic canyon. Professional bilingual guides accompany you at all times. Weight limit 300 lbs.
